With the public health emergency ending on May 11, 2023, Medicaid recipients will now have to re-apply to keep their health insurance benefits.

- How will I know when it is my turn to re-apply for my Medicaid benefits with Jai Medical Systems?
We will notify you in a variety of ways including mailings, text messages, phone calls, and/or emails when it is your turn to re-apply. Jai Medical Systems will always identify ourselves in all communications to you. If you are ever unsure if a communication received is from us, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-524-1999. - I received a communication saying that I need to pay a fee to maintain my Medicaid benefits. Is this true?
No. If anyone contacts you stating that you have to pay a fee to apply, re-apply, or keep your Medicaid benefits, it is a scam. There is no cost associated when applying for health insurance benefits in Maryland. To report a phone scam, please visit DoNotCall.gov or ReportFraud.ftc.gov. - How do I apply or re-apply for benefits with Jai Medical Systems?
Please visit the Maryland Health Connection at www.marylandhealthconnection.gov today. You can also apply/re-apply by calling the Maryland Health Connection at 1-855-642-8572. - I need assistance re-applying for Medicaid. Is there someone who can help me?
Yes! Our team is available to assist you when re-applying for your benefits with Jai Medical Systems. We can also connect you with a Navigator or Certified Application Counselor who can walk you through the application process. - I did not re-apply for my Medicaid benefits, and now I do not have health insurance coverage. What can I do?
You can still apply for Medicaid online at www.marylandhealthconnection.gov.
Do I qualify for Medicaid benefits with Jai Medical Systems?
Maryland Medicaid Eligibility is based on a variety of factors including the following:
- Where you live: You must be a Maryland resident,
- Your age: Individuals are eligible up to age 64,
- Citizenship Status: Be a U.S. Citizen or non-citizen who meets immigration status requirements, and
- Your Income Based on Household size: See income requirements based on household size.
- In addition, you will be asked to provide your social security number if you have one.
